I love my daddy!My dad turns 70 today! He is such a wonderful person. I am thankful that he is my dad.
He has been such an encouragement to me and my family.Fortunately, he is only having birthdays every ten years from now on , which helps us think we aren't getting any older!

OK...I can't let 2 pass in a week. First "Kitty's" now "Daddy's". When a word ends in y and is plural, you drop the y and add "ies." Sometimes I worry about that WCA education...
I think you forgot one part of that rule...vowel or consonant before the y.
