Jordan turned 19 yesterday. He was one of many to be born at the NEW Wake Med birthing center that month. 2 other women from my Sunday school class delivered that weekend! I thought that the 2nd baby comes faster and delivery would be easier. I learned from that experience that it is not necessarily true. He was longer by about 8 hrs (still a relatively short labor of 12hrs) and he was turned a different way and so I had back labor. He was a pound bigger. His birth was just a funny one because there was so much going on and so many visitors. (some I didn't know, they were for the woman before me) I was relegated to the old postpartum area instead of staying in the room like they said I would.
So,#2 is just a little like #1 in that they are both male and have the same parents!
He was the sweetest baby and so laid back. He was a wanderer and got lost in stores and gave me heart attacks. Now, he is a man searching for his place and purpose.
Deuteronomy 3:25 (New King James Version)
25 I pray, let me cross over and see the good land beyond the Jordan, those pleasant mountains, and Lebanon.’
Jordan was born on his Grandpa's birthday, so happy birthday to Bud!
I would have posted it on the 10th but my dsl was down.
