( this written by Dr. Carle Zimmerman in a text called Family and Civilization.1947)
I guess we could check that list off.So, it might be said that America is being attacked from the inside out. Kind of like an auto immune disease!
What to do about it?
Trust in the Lord, the good thing about the economy is that we are beginning to relinquish some of our idols. God is being merciful to us!
We need to get the Word out; another interesting fact is that America accounts for 5% of the world population but spends the most on missions and sends out the most missionaries. The majority of the world's population can have access to Christian radio, Scripture in their own language, audio and media, all because of folks answering the call to go and tell others about Jesus! ( Charlene just wrote about the Jesus film she watched at ESL in Japanese)
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
Isa 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good [things], Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

LOVE THE NEW LOOK!
OK...If Christian Americans were as concerned for the people in the neighborhood next door than for the "world", if we would actually DO something (like protest) instead of having a complain-fest with other christians when the government tries to force ungodly laws, if we were willing to live in true holiness, if our churches really were houses of prayer instead of programs, if we "tuned in" to the needs of others instead of the TV, if we actually comunicated as much with the lost in person as with each other on the internet, if we REALLY CARED...perhaps we could make a dent. We do NOT love the Lord enough to do it, and we love our convenient, warm, cozy homes and entertainment SO DARN MUCH! We DO NOT LOVE the lost sufficiently, nor are we really all that burdened with the fact that they will be in HELL soon, FOREVER, to do anything about it. We are lazy, self serving, egotistical, and unloving. So any time there is another law passed to promote sin, just look in the mirror and see who it is that is to blame.
The silence and isolation of the Christians has destroyed this nation.
Oooo...another book to put on my list:) And yes, we can certainly check all those things on that list off here in the US.
