school days

school is back in session. This year, we are involved in 3 schools! Middle School, High School and Insights School(homeschool). It is very different being in 3 different places. Last year, my eagles were fledglings, now they are morphing into cats-tigers, and jaguars.

Lots of prayers will be prayed. New friends will be made.
Hoping everyone starting school has a great year!

Into the Blue!

Pat is off! We went to the airshow at Pope AFB on Sat. Even with the thick gray clouds, it was nice. Nothing like the feel of the F-16's over head and the intensity of stimuli. It really is a thrill. Having grown up on the tarmacs of a lot of air shows..(one of my Dad's favorite family activities no matter where we lived at the time), there is something about airplanes and how they fly. The Thunderbirds were there and the commander swore in the recruits...and Pat was one of them. He was really excited.(third from left, front row)Then the clouds cleared and they flew.Unfortunately, we had to wait about 1hr plus in line to get the bus back to Ft. Bragg to our cars..
One eagle off and flying....4 to go
